YOM KIPPUR SERVICES
This Friday, Sept. 21 and Saturday, Sept. 22
FRIDAY EVENING AT 6:30 SHARP
Services will begin at exactly 6:30
The hall will be open at 6:15
SATURDAY MORNING AT 10 AM
Continuing all day, with a mid-afternoon break
YIZKOR AT 4 PM
AFTERNOON SERVICE AND NE'ILAH BEGINNING AT 5 PM
HAVDALAH SHORTLY AFTER 7 PM
BREAKING THE FAST TOGETHER ABOUT 7:15 PM
ALL SERVICES AT SPENCER HALL 4TH FLOOR BOARD ROOM
ON THE MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY CAMPUS
Free parking in Lot 62, in front of Spencer Hall
DIRECTIONS TO SPENCER HALL: Spencer Hall is on the north side of the campus. If you are coming from the east (Confederation Bldg, Allandale Rd, take the first right turn and then turn left. If you are coming from the west, it will be the last left turn before Allandale Rd. Spencer is one of the three buildings of Queen's College, between Feild Hall (Bitters location) and Coughlan College. It is the building which has scaffolding around it as repair work is currently being done.
FOOD: You are welcome to join us in breaking the fast whether or not you bring food. If you do bring food, put it in the kitchen right next to the Board Room. There is a refrigerator there. If you bring food, you are encouraged to bring it before services on Friday night, so you can avoid handling food on Yom Kippur. In today’s edition of the Telegram (Sunday), Katherine Side is featured in 20 Questions. Katherine is the new head of MUN's Women's Studies Department and has recently joined the Havura.
